How to create an instance with the snapshot image?

To create an instance with the snapshot image, follow the steps given below:

Step 1: Login to your account.

Step 2: Navigate to Services and then click on My Services.

Step 3: Click on your project.

Step 4: Navigate to Compute and then click on Instances.

Step 5: Click on Create Instance.

Step 6: Enter the instance details and hit Next.

Step 7: Click on Source then select Instance Snapshot from Boot Source drop-down and select your snapshot.

Click on Select Flavor, choose your flavor, and click Next. If your flavor is unavailable, create a ticket with your specifications.

Step 8: Click on Configure Storage and fill in all the details. Choose the Key-Pair drop-down menu to select your key-pair.

Step 9: Choose a network of your own choice.

Select the Security Groups and click Next. (You can also create a security group. Click here to learn how.)

Step 10: Review your details and click on Launch Instance.
