How to attach a volume?

Follow the steps below to know how to attach a volume:

Step 1: Login to your account.

Step 2: Navigate to Services and then click on My Services.

Step 3: Click on your project.

Step 4: Navigate to Compute and then click on Instances.

Step 5: Choose your instance and click on the Instance name.

Step 6: Click on Select and choose Attach Volume from the drop-down menu.

Note: You can attach volume only to one instance as displayed in the figure.

Step 7: Select Volume ID, choose a volume from the list and hit Attach Volume.

Note: You can attach only that volume that has been created already. Select the checkbox if you want to delete the volume when the instance is terminated.
