How to create a snapshot of a VM?

A snapshot is an image that preserves the disk state of a running instance. To configure a backup of the VM, follow the steps given below:

Step 1: Login to your account.

Step 2: Navigate to Services and then click on My Services.

Step 3: Click on your project.

Step 4: Navigate to Compute and then click on Instances.

Step 5: Select the Instance from the list and click on Select then choose Create Snapshot.

Step 6: Enter the Snapshot Name and hit Create Snapshot.
